Text To Anim Loop
Seamless cycles for Blend Spaces and locomotion, from a single prompt.
Content Browser > Add > Animation > Text To Anim Loop, or Save as Loop from the panel.
One prompt ("a person walks forward", "an idle breathing pose", "a person runs"), several takes: the plugin finds the best cycle in each take and blends its ends so it loops seamlessly. The output is always cyclic, In place or with Root motion, ready for Blend Spaces and locomotion.
How the cycle is found
For every pair of frames the plugin measures how well the two poses (and the root velocity) match, picks the best pair and spreads the small remaining difference over the cycle, so the last frame flows into the first.
Cycle settings
In the Details panel of the Loop:
| Setting | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Min Cycle Seconds | 0.5 s | Shortest cycle accepted. |
| Max Cycle Seconds | 0 | Longest cycle accepted; 0 = up to the whole take. |
| Edge Margin Seconds | 0.15 s | Time skipped at both ends of the take, where the model often settles in or out. |
| Prefer | Longest | Among cycles that match about as well, the longest (more variation, several steps) or the shortest. |
| Straighten | On | Undo the turn the cycle builds up, so a looping walk goes straight instead of in a circle. |
| Manual Range | Off | Pick the cycle's start and end frames yourself instead of searching for the best one. |
Generate a few takes and keep the one whose cycle looks best: every take is a different performance of the same
prompt.
